Wii Sponsoring #16 Car
Nintendo Wii will be sponsoring the #16 car driven by Greg Biffle in the August 12, 2007 – Watkins Glen International, and September 23, 2007 – Dover International Speedway NASCAR races. I don’t believe this is the first time a video game company has sponsored a car in NASCAR, but it is the first time Nintendo has done so. NASCAR’s one of America’s most-watched sports, and it’s reaching people all over. This move makes a lot of senses for Nintendo, and will probably make it even more difficult to find Wii’s in stock this holiday season. Speaking of which… if you’re in the market to buy one, start shopping early. Seriously.

Codename: Cloverfield.
Codename: Cloverfield. If you saw Transformers, you no doubt saw the mysterious “Cloverfield” preview beforehand. If you missed it or want to see it again, it’s available in HD here. I love how it’s only referred to as “Untitled J.J. Abrams Project (2008)” on IMDB.
