    Webmaster Jam Session 2007

I got the go ahead last week to register for Webmaster Jam Session 2007! I’m really looking forward to attending the two-day conference. (I don’t get to leave the office all that often.) The speakers list is impressive! There’s going to be so much going on… so much to learn.

I’m especially looking forward to Bryan Veloso and Dan Rubin’s “Design is in the Details“, Jeff Croft’s “Typography: Beyond the Font” and so much more… I follow the blogs of so many of these designers and developers… it’s going to be sweet to learn from them face to face.

I’m making the trek alone as of right now. If you’re planning to attend, let me know!

  • NIN Wallpapers

Nine Inch Nails just released some new wallpapers for YearZero and for the iPhone.

  • Wii Sponsoring #16 Car

Nintendo Wii will be sponsoring the #16 car driven by Greg Biffle in the August 12, 2007 – Watkins Glen International, and September 23, 2007 – Dover International Speedway NASCAR races. I don’t believe this is the first time a video game company has sponsored a car in NASCAR, but it is the first time Nintendo has done so. NASCAR’s one of America’s most-watched sports, and it’s reaching people all over. This move makes a lot of senses for Nintendo, and will probably make it even more difficult to find Wii’s in stock this holiday season. Speaking of which… if you’re in the market to buy one, start shopping early. Seriously.

  • iPhone Stuff

The folks over at BlueFlavor just released a site called Leaflets that features reworked versions of popular sites that have been optimized for the iPhone. While you’re surfing the web on your iPhone, you can do it in style with one of several awesome iPhone wallpapers from Airbag Industries.
