Position: Front-End Developer
Location: Augusta, GA

  • Worked with in-house designer & developers, contractors, and vendors to maintain over a dozen different web properties for Morris Media Network.
  • Provided support and maintenance for legacy sites running Drupal 7 and Joomla.
  • Provided graphic design and development services in support of print & web advertising efforts.
  • Led effort to migrate majority of web properties to WordPress.
  • Developed ‘Daybreak’ WordPress theme & plugin bundle that unified design & features we were able to provide on internally led migrations/conversions.
  • Developed WordPress sites using Beaver Builder with heavy ACF integration, custom templating, etc.
  • Built custom WordPress solutions using tools/plugins such as ACF Pro, CPT UI, Gravity Forms, WooCommerce.

  • Provided design and development on client projects for agencies such as OnWired, 47Royale, Nine Labs, and Studiocom/VML.
  • Built custom WordPress themes, implemented designs into WordPress for their clients.

  • Oversaw creative projects. Responsible for overall quality of work produced by the creative department; manage creative projects from concept to completion and translate client objectives into creative strategies; and, establish the creative direction for the entire line of online services, products and programs.
  • Responsibilities include project coordination, design and development of web sites, integrating websites into in-house software applications, identity design, collateral design, consulting, etc.

Position: Web Architect, Art Director
Location: Augusta, GA

I developed information architecture for client sites, incorporating intelligent navigational structures with optimized content organization. I specialized in interface design – including color coordination, graphic elements, content layouts, and usability considerations. As an Art Director I performed a number of print-related tasks, including coming up with new and original logos, layouts, print campaigns, multimedia campaigns, etc. Additional responsibilities have included developing estimates, vendor negotiations, technical support for clients, and project coordination.

Position: Graphic/Web Designer

I oversaw the creative direction and development of all projects. I was responsible for the design of all new website layouts and collateral design. Additional responsibilities included providing maintenance and technical support for 100+ clients, coordinating project development with vendors and freelancers to ensure jobs were completed on-time and within budget, and working with sales to create impactful marketing materials for new business initiatives.

Jingle Jam 10K • 2012-2017

Served on the board of directors for the Jingle Jam 10K, which raises money for SafeHomesDV.org (a domestic violence intervention center located in Augusta, GA). Provided custom web design and development services, print design services, and assisted with social media and email marketing efforts.

RefreshAugusta • 2008—2014

In 2008, I founded RefreshAugusta and served as the sole organizer for several years. I coordinated speakers, planned workshops, and gave several talks.
