Can it get any better?
I know how they do it but, I don’t know how they do it… Each week of Heroes keeps getting better and better. Last night’s episode, “Parasite“, was incredible. I can’t wait to see how this all unfolds!!!
The commentary on Greg Beeman’s blog for “Parasite” is great this week. I highly recommend checking it out! I think he described this episode perfectly with this one statement:
“Holy sh*t!!! This is the holy sh*t-est episode yet! The shockers just keep coming! It may be too much for a weak-hearted viewer and we may need to attach a warning up-front! AWESOME SCRIPT!!!
“Holy sh*t!!! This is the holy sh*t-est episode yet!”: My sentiments exactly.
When I first started on this post, I thought I’d type up with a overview of all that occurred in the episode, but a pretty thorough synopsis of the episode is already up on Wikipedia: Heroes 1×18: Parasite. Without spoiling everything, below are some key highlights (taken from HeroesWiki) from this episode. (These are pretty tame as far as SPOILERS are concerned… but if you absolutely don’t want to know anything about this week’s episode, read no further.)
- Peter and Isaac each deal with the aftermath of Simone’s death.
- The Haitian’s attempt to lead Claire to safety takes an unexpected turn.
- As Jessica seeks to complete another assignment for Mr. Linderman, Niki begins to assert herself.
- Hiro’s quest for the sword reaches its conclusion.
- Nathan Petrelli’s relationship with Mr. Linderman comes to a head as they meet face-to-face.
- Mr. Bennet attempts to stay one step ahead of The Company.
- Suresh is forced to choose between revenge and research.
Heroes will return on April 23rd. If you use Google Calendar, I’ve been maintaining a calendar of Heroes and Lost episodes and have made it publicly viewable. In the lower right-hand corner there’s an option to subscribe. (Here’s the iCal version and XML version.) With each episode, I’ve tried to list what time the episode airs, what network it appears on, the title and episode number, and a brief description - obtained from the networks, or from Wikipedia… If you find it useful, let me know!
