Version Notes: XXXI
XXXI was launched on 1 September 2009 as part of the first ever SiteSprint. At launch, it was running on WordPress 2.8.4. It was written in HTML5 and uses quite a but of CSS3. It won’t work in older browsers. And no, I probably won’t fix issues for Internet Explorer 7 or older. Besides, if you’re viewing this site in IE, you’re probably used to pain.
Updates:
- 3 Nov 2009 — Added avatar to design. Custom artwork by Anton Peck. Bug fixes.
- 5 Nov 2009 — XXXI: Evolution.
Known Issues:
- rgba colors aren’t appearing in Internet Explorer 8. I might fix this, but it’s not a priority.
- Comments aren’t stylized. This will be fixed very soon.
- Report other issues.
Browser Compatibility:
- This site has been tested in the following browsers: Apple Safari 4, Firefox 3.5, Opera 10
- Internet Explorer 8 has issues with rounded corners (border-radius) and rgba colors.
- Google Chrome doesn’t support @font-face. As such, the primary navigation, article titles, links in the sidebar and various other areas probably don’t look as intended.
- If you visit the site in IE6, you will not see the site design at all. Access to the content is more important than me worrying about whether the site looks good for older browsers. Sorry.
- If you visit the site in IE7, you will see some of the design, but not all. If you’re able to use IE7 please upgrade to IE8, or switch to a different browser. The web will thank you. Really.
