Do Web Designers Need Degrees? A degree couldn’t hurt, but I think all of us - whether we have a degree or not - need to do what we can to raise the level of professionalism & quality of work.

  1. I agree … I think ultimately the most important thing is quantity and quality of work — great work is what will ultimately make one stand out among the crowd.

  3. I have a Masters in Educational Technology. That and 3 dollars will get you a gallon of gas. (wait! No it won’t. I am short about 80 cents)

    I think education is good but some of the smartest people i know can barely check their email so its all relative. If you do quality work that is what will stand out and what you will be remembered for.
