Wii Sponsoring #16 Car

Nin­tendo Wii will be spon­sor­ing the #16 car dri­ven by Greg Bif­fle in the August 12, 2007 — Watkins Glen Inter­na­tional, and Sep­tem­ber 23, 2007 — Dover Inter­na­tional Speed­way NASCAR races. I don’t believe this is the first time a video game com­pany has spon­sored a car in NASCAR, but it is the first time Nin­tendo has done so. NASCAR’s one of America’s most-watched sports, and it’s reach­ing peo­ple all over. This move makes a lot of senses for Nin­tendo, and will prob­a­bly make it even more dif­fi­cult to find Wii’s in stock this hol­i­day sea­son. Speak­ing of which… if you’re in the mar­ket to buy one, start shop­ping early. Seriously.
