The countdown has begun.
In a little over 13 hours, I’ll be watching the new Transformers movie. It’s been ages since I’ve been this geeked out over a movie! The reviews I’ve read so far have been pretty favorable towards the flick, so I’m hopeful that Michael Bay hasn’t completely screwed this up.
My excitement towards this movie stems from the fact that Transformers was the first cartoon I really got into as a child. I had a pretty good collection of Autobots and Decepticons… and now… it’s come to tonight.
If you’re in the Augusta, GA area and you’re interested in meeting up with us to catch the movie, I’ll be at the Regal Cinemas tonight for an 8:30pm showing of the movie. I opted to get tickets for the 8:30pm showing because it’s being shown in one of the high-def (DLP) theatres. It should make for a most excellent showing…
Man I can’t wait.

Hopefully it is worth the wait. I know Valeria read an article in Wired and was bummed by some of the details that were changed from the original to the new movie. Either way it should be visually stunning.

I’m heading to see it tomorrow after work….can’t wait. One of the guys at work managed to see it last week somehow and he said its good. I guess I’ll have to wait a little longer to find out for myself

It ended up being a lot better than I thought it would be. For me, it did not disappoint. I can’t wait to see it again.
