Fresh from the Labs: Google Gears

Fresh from the Labs: Google Gears. Google takes a bold step in offering an application that will enable web applications to work offline. I can’t wait to see it in action…

It seems this is quite the rage now. Joyent is doing it with “Slingshot”, Adobe has “Apollo”, Firefox also has it planned if I’m not mistaken, now Google has it. All we need now is for Microsoft and Yahoo to join in.

I do like the idea and the possibilities this will bring.

Thanks for th heads up Chris.
