I finished watching it about an hour ago and it was truly amazing. When I bought the graphic novels years ago, I never could have imagined that a movie would be made fully realizing the artwork of Frank Miller. The movie, the effects, everything… If you see one movie this year, let this be the one.

I suppose that it is quiet naive and artless to treat historical events like this;to dismiss and to distord the reality of one of the greatest civilisations of the world.All the knowledge, science and apprehention that this ancient civilisation has come forth is nothing to be neglected or to be falcified. Please consider that this was a work of fiction, loosely based on fact, not the other way around. Yes, history may have been quite different than what was portrayed in the movie, but it was never declared that this movie was to be a historically accurate portrayal of what actually transpired. People, such as yourself, get mired in the details and forget that this is just a movie…
