Got Virb?

Virb logoVirb is a new social network from the folks over at Unborn Media… The focus is on music, videos, photos, blogs and groups… LuxuryLuke was kind enough to hook me up with a beta invite, and now I’d like to share the wealth. I’ve got 1413 invites up for grabs. Leave a comment and I’ll hook ya up. It’s as simple as that.

I haven’t done much with my own profile, but Virb allows you to customize the CSS to your heart’s delight. It’s not a kludgy process like stylizing a MySpace profile, and you have nearly complete control over how everything displays on your profile page.

I’m liking it so far, and hopefully I can get in there and mess with my profile a bit more. If you’d like to check out Virb, leave a comment and I will send you an invite!

I think it’s a great new web app and it will go a lot further than others that have come and gone.

Virb has special features, different than the norms of Facebook and Myspace. I just started using it yesterday and I really like it.

  6. Thanks for chiming in Jonathan! I agree, it’s definitely different than Facebook and MySpace. I love the control people get over how their stuff is displayed. That kind of flexibility is is missing from Facebook and is supported by MySpace only via ugly, disgusting hacks.

  10. I still have invites as well! If you’ve been putting off trying Virb… stop that nonsense… (I kid.) But if you do want to try it out, lots of people have invites.
