Far From Done

Well, the new site design is here… sort of. I’m still working on a lot of behind the scenes stuff… but I felt like where I am with everything is much better than where I was with the previous iteration of the site. So, without further adieu, here’s Effercio – version 14 of cdharrison.com. There’s still a lot more to do at this point…

It’s getting there though. Let me know if you encounter any problems while using the site.

I am impressed that you know what version you are on. I lost track of my website redesigns long ago.

The new site looks good and I am sure that you will only make it better as time goes by. I look forward to seeing it developed

Thanks bro. For a while I didn’t bother to take note of what version I was on… but then I took a look back and counted up all of the major redesigns I had done. In all honesty, I’ve made a lot more tweaks to the site just 14 revisions… but it was the closest approximation to major site changes I could account for since I launched the site in 1999. I’ll definitely make mention of additional tweaks I make to the site from this point forward.

Looks like there is an issue with the header logo’s transparency in safari…

#heading h1 a { background:#153f8a; } and it appears to fix the issue. Thanks for pointing it out, Wes. I appreciate it!

Weird… just checked it out… and I’m not sure what is causing it. I added a selector #heading h1 a { background:#153f8a; } and it appears to fix the issue. Thanks for pointing it out, Wes. I appreciate it!

Looks good, man. I’m pretty jealous, but I’ll leave this sorta thing to the pros.
