I’ve used the CSS attribute letter-spacing to control the amount of space in the titles on my site. They work fine in Firefox, utilizing the following CSS: h1 { letter-spacing: -.08em } IE6 doesn’t seem to like negative em values. IE6 actually adds spacing between the characters in this instance. I’ve got my fingers crossed right now, but I think I finally figured out what was going wrong with Blogger and it’s ability to publish my blog. It was choking on the MeasureMap script I had to incorporate into my template. I figured this out first by copying the modified template I had setup, and choosing one of the pre-built … Read the rest of this item

I thought my issues with Blogger were over. They aren’t. I’m still getting Broken Pipeline errors when I try to publish. I got no response from Blogger. I guess this is to be expected from such a big company… especially one offering free applications. After evaluating several blog applications, I have decided to make the switch over to MovableTypeWordPress. I’ll … Read the rest of this item

I am continually amazed at technology these days… Utilizing a doppler from StorkRadio.net, and my laptop, I was able to record (via Quicktime 7 Pro) the sound of Tyler’s heartbeat in the womb. It’s amazing… Just thought I would share it with you all… Grab the MP4 here. (2.48Mb) Grab the WAV here. (13.4Mb) Don’t have Quicktime? Grab it here.

Kim had another 3D/4D Sonogram this past weekend.Little Tyler was rather uncooperative this time. Most pictures we were able to see either had him obscuring his face somehow, or shoving his toes into his mouth. I am continually amazed by the thought of this child that will soon come into Kim and my life. We’re truly … Read the rest of this item
