mcveigh go bye-bye?

it’s 8:14am and mcveigh is now dead, but to what end? what beast have we unleashed now that we have made him a martyr? the american people wanted retribution, and they have gotten it… does mcveigh’s death make us feel any less empty? do those who lost friends and relatives in the blast feel any better now that mcveigh is dead? somehow, i doubt not.

mcveigh believed he was in the midst of a war: a war he was prepared to live and die for. why aren’t we worried about those that might take up his cause?

i can’t believe i am sitting here watching the news about this. i can’t believe the media has hyped his death up so much. he killed a bunch of people. i feel sorry for those who lost their lives because of his thoughtlessness. i think though, that he shouldn’t have died. not like this. not in front of this circus.

i totally support the death penalty, just not in this case. you don’t make martyr out of a nut job trying to topple the government. there are just too many other nutjobs out there willing to take up the cause.
